still telling the truth about drugs

Drawing a Line | Mike Linnell | 20 Years of Harm Reduction

On the 4th March 2005 Michael Linnell, the driving force behind Lifeline's publications, celebrates twenty years of employment with Lifeline.

To commemorate the event, instead of throwing a party and presenting him with a gold-plated clock we decided to cajole some of the key people in the field of harm reduction into offering their take on twenty years of Mike Linnell - and throw a party.

The colleagues I have worked with and respected over the years: Les, Rowdy, Steph, Mark, Peter, Russell, Mark, Colin, Ian, and the people who have made these contributions have had a huge influence on my thinking. When you work closely with somebody and bat about ideas on a daily basis, you often lose track of who had what thought and where it came from, you develop a kind of collective wisdom. What I think, is based on this collection of ideas, influences and experiences that come from those who I have worked for over the past twenty years.
